George Tamas
Chief Executive Officer/Chairman of the Board
Mr. Tamas has more than three decades of experience in top management positions for computer software/service organizations ranging in size from start up to publicly traded companies with more than $150,000,000 in annual revenues. After receiving his degree in Mathematics from UCLA, he taught Mathematics and Computer Science for several years before starting his first company. He has since led multiple companies that engaged in such areas as technology management consulting, software development, networking, and outsourcing.
Mr. Tamas has been a featured speaker at numerous state, national, and international conferences. He is recognized as a leading innovator in government and educational uses of technology, and particularly in the design and development of Web-based, multi-entity networks and databases.
Paula Young
Founder/President
Ms. Young founded Governet’s precursor company, Nevada Contractors Registry, Inc. in 1986. She pioneered the concept of gathering and aggregating databases from multiple local and state government agencies, and then distributing them via a single point of access on a network. She was successful in creating the company’s first statewide network and database serving most of the cities, counties, and state agencies in Nevada. This network and database served as the initial nucleus of services when George Tamas joined the company, at which time it was renamed Governet.
Ms. Young also has developed extensive management expertise in serving as CEO of Blue Mountain Energy, Inc., a certified woman-owned business in the energy sector that was recognized as one of Nevada top 100 Businesses from Diversity.com. Ms. Young has been invited to speak on numerous occasions to both government and general audiences on becoming a Woman Owned Business. She currently serves as President and Chief Financial Officer of Governet.
Nancy Howard
Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Howard has worked extensively with local governments and non-profit agencies for the past 25 years with primary responsibilities in the areas of legislative advocacy, financial accounting, administrative business operations and personnel/human resources.
Ms. Howard has served Governet in multiple capacities, including Vice President of Administrative Services and Director of Marketing and Sales. She is very knowledgeable about every facet of the Company’s business and has contributed greatly to its success. She is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer.
Steven Thyberg
Vice President
Strategic Services
Mr. Thyberg began his technical career with Governet after receiving his degree in Computer Software Engineering from Idaho State University. He has progressively risen through the ranks to now serve as the Vice President of Strategic Services. As the designer/developer of the current version of the Company’s flagship product, CurricUNET, he has both an intimate knowledge of all of Governet’s product offerings, as well as experience in all phases of its technical process and organization, having previously served as Vice President of Technology.
Mr. Thyberg has further used his technical background to systematize the Company’s entire marketing and sales process, and to effectively and accurately describe CurricUNET features to prospective clients.
Todd Andersen

Mr. Andersen began his technical career with Governet after receiving his Bachelors in Computer Information Systems from Idaho State University. He has served for several years as one of the Company’s top software developers. His attention to detail and his ability to manage both projects and the many resources required to complete those projects has led to his appointment as the Company’s Vice President of Technology.
